U.S. High School Students Failed to Pass Fitness Test

High school students failed to pass fitness testAccording to an updated study of the government, high school students in U.S. did not pass the “minimum exercise requirements” needed for a fit and well living. The ratings showed almost 90 percent of those students appear to be unhealthy.

Furthermore, CDC or the Centers for Disease Control has revealed that for the general population of the students, a percentage of 12.2 only accumulated the government’s standard requirements, which included aerobic activities and muscle-growth exercises in a three-day and seven-day period.

The requirements were set by “Healthy People 2020,” which is considered a government program with the intention of having a long-time aim of physical well-being.

A survey was organized by public and private schools and the findings showed that there is a need to rationalize physical activities for the youth. These students, in general, need to have a good taste of the offered physical exercises to be fit. This means that the government should also need to enhance its endeavors in promoting such requirements to the youth.

There are considerable factors why a lot has failed this test. This included genders and particular racial groupings among youths. A great number was showed by male students, reaching almost 20 percent for completing the requirements. On the other hand, female students only composed of 5 percent.

In addition, Black and Hispanic students were less active compared to the white and non-Hispanic students.

It sounds bad that most of the students in USA declared Unfit during their fitness test. I think Us Government should start some awareness program so that most of the youth can take part in it and parents should also advice their children to do regular exercises.
